Basketball Recap: North Creek's Loss Ends Four-Game Winning Streak at Home

North Creek lost against Lake Washington back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The North Creek Jaguars fell to the Lake Washington Kangaroos 64-59. The Jaguars have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the loss, North Creek still got an impressive performance from Carter Cohen, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 11 rebounds. Cohen's evening made it three games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Cris Bonicillo, who went 8 of 18 en route to 22 points.

North Creek's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-8. As for Lake Washington, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 12 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the North Creek Jaguars take on the Bothell Cougars at 5:40 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in North Creek's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last nine matches. As for Lake Washington, they will square off against Sammamish at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Washington will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.
