Football Recap: Desert Hills Falls Short of Green Canyon in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Desert Hills can now relate to. They fell 10-3 to the Green Canyon Wolves on Friday. The contest was a 0-0 toss-up at halftime, but the Thunder couldn't quite close it out.

Max Brownstein threw for 70 yards while completing 87.5% of his passes. Koy Duckett was his top target, picking up 38 receiving yards. On the ground, Isaac Andresen rushed for 114 yards.

Desert Hills dropped their record down to 2-8 with the defeat, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Green Canyon, they now have a winning record of 6-5.

Desert Hills does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Green Canyon, they will face off against Snow Canyon at 4:00 p.m. on Friday.
