Volleyball Recap: Cristo Rey Comes Up Short

Cristo Rey managed to slip by Bonsall the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Coyotes came up short against the Legionnaires on Tuesday, falling 3-0. The Coyotes have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Cristo Rey may have fallen short, but they were sure consistent: they scored zero points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-0, 25-0, 25-0.

Cristo Rey's loss dropped their record down to 7-18. As for Bonsall, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 10-9.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Cristo Rey will challenge rival Bostonia Global at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Bonsall is set to square off against their familiar foe River Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
