Volleyball Recap: Peoria Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Peoria was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Danville Vikings. The home team had taken home the W every time these teams have met since October 19, 2021, but that streak is no more.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Peoria sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The match finished with set scores of 25-17, 23-25, 25-20.

Peoria's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Danville, their win ended a nine-match drought on the road and puts them at 3-21.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Peoria will square off against rival Normal West at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Danville is set to challenge their familiar foe Normal Community at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
