Basketball Recap: Carter Holmes' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Narrows over Parry Mccluer

Narrows lost against Parry McCluer last Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Narrows Green Waves fell 69-56 to the Parry McCluer Fighting Blues.

Narrows lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Carter Holmes, who went 6-for-14 en route to 16 points and six boards. The game was his fifth in a row with at least 15 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Hunter Owens, who went 6-for-13 on his way to 15 points and six rebounds.

Narrows' loss dropped their record down to 13-9. As for Parry McCluer, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-4.

Narrows has already played their next contest, a 60-43 victory against Eastern Montgomery on the 18th. As for Parry McCluer, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 72-35 win against Highland on the 18th.
