Basketball Game Preview: Mainland Buccaneers vs. Colonial Grenadiers

The Mainland Buccaneers will take on the Colonial Grenadiers at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Mainland turned things around against Bishop Snyder on Saturday. They came out on top against the Cardinals by a score of 62-55.

Meanwhile, Colonial was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Friday as they fell 68-64 to East River. The defeat continues a trend for the Grenadiers in their matchups with the Falcons: they've now lost three in a row.

The victory got Mainland back to even at 8-8. As for Colonial, their loss dropped their record down to 9-7.
