Riverheads and Buffalo Gap are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2019, but likely not for long. The Gladiators will take on the Bison at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty run totals in their previous games.

As a matter of fact, Riverheads put up the most runs they have all season on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 12-5 margin over Staunton. The victory was some much needed relief for the Gladiators as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Buffalo Gap made easy work of Parry McCluer on Thursday and carried off a 22-6 win. The result was nothing new for the Bison, who have now won three matchups by 16 runs or more so far this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Buffalo Gap and bumps their season record up to 6-3. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.0 runs over those games. As for Riverheads, their victory was their first in the region, bumping their region record up to 1-2 and their overall record up to 2-4.

Riverheads couldn't quite get it done against Buffalo Gap in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 as they fell 8-5. Can the Gladiators avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
