Recap: Shawnee Mission North Bison vs. Blue Valley West Jaguars
The Shawnee Mission North Bison pushed their score all the way to 35 on Thursday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a serious blow against Blue Valley West, falling 69-35. Shawnee Mission North was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 42-21.
Blue Valley West's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tate Nagy, who threw for 264 yards and six touchdowns while completing 72% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Sage Huffman, who gained 174 total yards and three touchdowns.
Shawnee Mission North's loss dropped their record down to 2-7. As for Blue Valley West, their victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-5.
