Frankfort extended their losing streak (dating back to last season) to 38 on Monday, dropping their season record down to 0-20 in the process. They lost 19-9 to the Crawfordsville Athenians. On the bright side, the nine- run performance marked the Hot Dogs' highest-scoring match to date.

Caroline Queen was cooking despite her team's loss, going 3-for-4 with three doubles, three RBI, and two runs. Justine Thomas was another key player, getting on base in three of her four plate appearances with two runs.

As for Crawfordsville, their victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-11 and their overall record up to 3-19. They haven't had any issues with Frankfort recently, as the game was their third consecutive win against them.

On Crawfordsville's side, they let Celeste Moore and Sabella Moore run wild. Celeste went 4-for-5 with five runs, two RBI, and one double, while Sabella went 4-for-5 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Those five runs gave Celeste a new career-high. Tori Truax also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

While Frankfort had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
