Recap: Lewistown Indians vs. Midwest Central/Delavan Raiders
The Lewistown Indians won the last time they faced the Midwest Central/Delavan Raiders, and things went their way on Tuesday too. Lewistown strolled past Midwest Central/Delavan with points to spare, taking the game 50-34. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Lewistown.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Lewistown to victory, but perhaps none more so than Landry Smith, who scored 17 points. The contest was Smith's fourth in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Abby Wiegand, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and five assists.
Lewistown has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 6-7 record this season. As for Midwest Central/Delavan, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-13.
Coincidentally, the pair will both be playing Illini Bluffs the next time they take the court. Lewistown will head out to face Illini Bluffs at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Midwest Central/Delavan will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
