The Vandegrift Vipers will take on the Sotomayor WILDCATS on Thursday. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Vandegrift comes in on seven and Sotomayor on 11.

Vandegrift is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They walked away with a 56-46 win over Westlake.

Meanwhile, Sotomayor was able to grind out a solid victory over Brandeis on Tuesday, taking the game 42-34. Given the WILDCATS's advantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 82nd, while the Broncos are ranked 277th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Sotomayor's win bumped their record up to 26-8. As for Vandegrift, their victory bumped their record up to 28-8.
