Softball Game Preview: Saucon Valley Panthers vs. Palmerton Blue Bombers

Saucon Valley is 0-9 against Palmerton since April of 2016 but things could change on Wednesday. The Panthers will be playing in front of their home fans against the Blue Bombers at 4:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Saucon Valley fell victim to Northwestern Lehigh and their airtight pitching crew on Tuesday. They came up short against the Tigers, falling 8-0. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Palmerton also failed to score in their most recent game. They lost 9-0 to Southern Lehigh on Friday. The Blue Bombers' defeat continues a trend for the team, making it three in a row.

Saucon Valley's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Palmerton, they now have a losing record of 2-3.
