After dropping their season opener at home, Marathon is headed out to face a Hurricanes squad ready to give their home crowd a win. Somerset Academy South Homestead lost 30-6 to Ransom Everglades on Tuesday. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it 12 in a row.

Meanwhile, Marathon suffered their biggest loss since February 24, 2024 on Tuesday. They came up short against Immaculata-La Salle, falling 10-4. The loss was the Dolphins' first of the season.

Marathon saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Dylan Williams, who went 2-for-3 with one RBI. What's more, Williams also racked up two hits, the most he's had since back in March of 2024.
