Volleyball Recap: Batesburg-Leesville Comes Up Short

Batesburg-Leesville saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Greenwood Eagles.

Kate Shealy paced Batesburg-Leesville's offense, picking up eight kills. Shealy got some help from Molly Price and her 14 assists.

Batesburg-Leesville's defeat dropped their record down to 11-17-1. As for Greenwood, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 6-13.

Batesburg-Leesville wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Pelion on the 25th. As for Greenwood, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-0 loss against Easley on the 23rd.
