Memphis East had to skate by with only a one-goal margin when they last took the pitch, which might have inspired the three-goal drubbing they dealt Sheffield on Tuesday. The Mustangs never let the Knights get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. Considering Memphis East have won five contests by more than two goals this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Sheffield with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from John Nunez, Fritz Kuusisto, and Ryan Williams.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Memphis East, bringing their record up to 8-2-1. As for Sheffield, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 9-1.

Coming up, Memphis East will challenge Crosstown at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Crosstown will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Memphis East surely won't give up without a fight.
