Volleyball Recap: Crosby-Ironton Rangers vs. Cotter Ramblers
After flying high against Moose Lake/Willow River on Friday, Crosby-Ironton came back down to earth. The Rangers took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cotter Ramblers on Saturday.
Cotter found their leader in sophomore Sydney Repinski, who had 25 digs and five aces. Repinski has been hot recently, having posted 14 or more digs the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Magdalena Stjepanovic, who had five digs and four aces.
Crosby-Ironton's loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Coming up, Crosby-Ironton is taking a road trip to take on Cromwell at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Cotter, they will welcome Chatfield at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. The match will give the Ramblers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
