There's no place like home for King City, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Palma Chieftains on Tuesday. The Mustangs not only won on Tuesday, but they posted their biggest win since August 28th (when they won 3-0).

While King City won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-21, 26-24, 25-18.

King City has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Palma, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 7-3 record.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. King City will have some time to savor their victory since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Salinas at 6:00 p.m. on October 2. As for Palma, they will host Pacific Grove at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
