Loveland lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Turpin, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Monday's game. The Tigers put the hurt on the Spartans with a sharp 9-0 win on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Tigers, who have now won six matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

The result came thanks to Henry Bradley's shutout, as he gave up just a hit and racked up six Ks. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Blake Carrigan, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one home run, three runs, and two doubles. Those three runs gave him a new career-high. Blake Hatfield was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Loveland kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 14 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

Loveland's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 11-5. As for Turpin, their loss dropped their record down to 12-5.

Loveland will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Spartans: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
