Meanwhile, Ferris posted their closest win since November 19, 2024 on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Godley 34-32.

Alvarado's loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-10. As for Ferris, they pushed their record up to 15-10 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home.
