Santa Rosa scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Monday. They put the hurt on the Logan Longhorns with a sharp 22-15 victory. The win was some much needed relief for Santa Rosa as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.
Angelina Silva was incredible, going 3-for-5 with four runs, two triples, and three RBI. She continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alyssa Villanueva, who went 2-for-6 with a home run, two runs, and a stolen base.
Santa Rosa's victory bumped their record up to 4-6. As for Logan, their loss dropped their record down to 1-3.
