Basketball Recap: Luxemburg-Casco Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Luxemburg-Casco came into Saturday's match having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They came out on top against the Green Bay Southwest Fighting Trojans by a score of 45-34 on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Spartans also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2021.

Luxemburg-Casco's victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Green Bay Southwest, they dropped their record down to 1-7 with the loss, which was their 12th straight at home dating back to last season.

Luxemburg-Casco and Green Bay Southwest could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Wisconsin Rankings. Luxemburg-Casco (ranked 365th) will meet Seymour (ranked 110th) at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Green Bay Southwest will challenge Sheboygan North at 7:00 p.m. on Friday down 337 places (362 vs. 25).
