Basketball Recap: Jaylen Henry and Jeremy Dietz Secure Win for Conemaugh Valley

Conemaugh Valley posted their biggest victory since December 7, 2024 on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Homer-Center Wildcats as the Conemaugh Valley Blue Jays made off with a 60-34 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Blue Jays who have now won three contests in a row.

Conemaugh Valley was led to victory by Jeremy Dietz and Jaylen Henry. Dietz went 7 of 11 on his way to 22 points and three steals, while Henry went 7 for 12 en route to 16 points in addition to five assists and five rebounds. The matchup was Henry's third in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Lance Masser, who went 5 of 8 en route to 11 points and seven boards.

Conemaugh Valley has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-5 record this season. As for Homer-Center, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 9-6.

Conemaugh Valley has already played their next contest, a 67-51 defeat against Conemaugh Township on the 22nd. As for Homer-Center, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 49-39 win against Penns Manor on the 20th.
