After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Humboldt, Iowa Falls-Alden was happy to have turned things around on Tuesday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the AGWSR Cougars 4-3. The victory was some much needed relief for the Cadets as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Iowa Falls-Alden's win bumped their record up to 5-7. As for AGWSR, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-6 record this season.

Iowa Falls-Alden will be playing in front of their home fans against Gilbert at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for AGWSR, they will challenge Sumner-Fredericksburg at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Sumner-Fredericksburg will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something AGWSR surely won't give up without a fight.
