Recap: Wossman Wildcats vs. Huntington Raiders
It was a good run, but the Wossman Wildcats unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 71-64 to Huntington. Wossman was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Huntington apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in November.
Among those leading the charge was Carley Hamilton, who scored 28 points. Kyndal Graham was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Wossman's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2. As for Huntington, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.
Wossman will head out on the road to face off against Marksville at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Marksville will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings (they are ranked 208th, while Wossman is ranked fourth). As for Huntington, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Southwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Southwood is looking to tack on another W to their four-game streak on the road.
