Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Soledad). They took their contest on Wednesday with ease, bagging a 76-29 victory over the Pacific Collegiate Pumas. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Aztecs with their most commanding win of the season.

Pablo Morales Iv was his usual excellent self, going 9 for 15 from beyond the arc en route to 42 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. What's more, he also posted a 60% three-point shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Anikan Tavarez, who posted five points and six assists.

Soledad has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a massive bump to their 12-10 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.4 points over those games. As for Pacific Collegiate, they dropped their record down to 3-9 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home.

Looking ahead, Soledad will take on King City at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Soledad is facing King City at the right time seeing as King City is stuck on a 13-game losing streak. As for Pacific Collegiate, they will challenge Greenfield at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
