The Glendale Cardinals will face off against the La Joya Community Fighting Lobos at 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Glendale is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 12.8 runs per game this season.

Glendale is probably headed into the game with a chip on their shoulder considering Washington just ended the team's three-game winning streak on Thursday. They took a 10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams.

Leonardo Raygoza and Matthew Najera did some serious damage despite the final result: Raygoza scored two runs while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances, while Najera scored a run and stole two bases while going 1-for-3. Alex Elder also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four matches, La Joya Community finally came back down to earth on Friday. They came up short against Youngker, falling 10-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Fighting Lobos were not able to get on the board.

La Joya Community's defeat dropped their record down to 7-5. As for Glendale, their loss dropped their record down to 3-2.

Tuesday's game will be a test for both teams' pitchers. Glendale hasn't had any issues making contact this season, having earned a batting average of .364. However, it's not like La Joya Community struggles in that department as they've averaged .376. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
