Carroll kept a clean sheet against Culver Academies on Saturday. They blew past the Eagles 8-0. Carroll's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last six matches.

Their offense was hitting Culver Academies from everywhere, as five different players booted in a goal. Joey Casaburo led that balanced group of strikers and accounted for three goals all by himself.

Carroll's win bumped their record up to 10-1-1. As for Culver Academies, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4-2.

Coming up, Carroll will be playing in front of their home fans against Homestead at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Homestead will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Carroll surely won't give up without a fight. As for Culver Academies, they will head out on the road to challenge Valparaiso at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Valparaiso's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
