Baseball Recap: Eagle Ridge Academy Beats Camden for Their Third Straight Win

Eagle Ridge Academy entered their tilt with Camden on Saturday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Patriots a 10-0 shutout. Eagle Ridge Academy might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won three matches by ten runs or more this season.

Jay Williams was a standout: he went 2-for-4 with two runs, two doubles, and one RBI. Ashton Myers also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.

Eagle Ridge Academy's record now sits at 3-4. As for Camden, they dropped their record down to 0-3 with the defeat, which was their 11th straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Eagle Ridge Academy will venture away from home to face off against West Lutheran at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The last three games the Warriors have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
