Softball Recap: Ontario Takes a Loss

Ontario was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They lost 10-2 to the Nyssa Bulldogs. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

Khianna Stone Mendez made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run and two RBI. Lili Owings was another key player, going 1-for-2 with two stolen bases.

Ontario's record now sits at 0-4. As for Nyssa, the victory got them back to even at 3-3.

Coming up, Ontario will venture away from home to take on Burns at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Nyssa, they will challenge Enterprise/Joseph at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
