Basketball Recap: Blue Ridge Takes a Loss

Blue Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the LeRoy Panthers and fell 59-13. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 626th, while the Panthers are ranked 277th).

Blue Ridge's loss dropped their record down to 0-8. As for LeRoy, their win bumped their record up to 7-4.

Blue Ridge will take on Argenta-Oreana in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for LeRoy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 55-45 victory against Meridian on the 14th.
