Recap: Stockbridge Tigers vs. Southwest DeKalb Panthers
After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Carrollton, the Stockbridge Tigers were happy to have found some success on Saturday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Southwest DeKalb and snuck past 60-57. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Carrington Wilson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 17 points along with five rebounds and three steals. Kahli Ingram was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Stockbridge is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Southwest DeKalb, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 8-4.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Stockbridge will take on Midtown at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Midtown will be coming into the contest with an undefeated record on the line. As for Southwest DeKalb, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hapeville Charter at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Hapeville Charter is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
