Volleyball Recap: Lewiston Comes Up Short

Lewiston was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Gardiner Tigers, falling 3-0. If the Blue Devils were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Tigers when the teams met back in October of 2022, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The final score came out to 25-7, 25-4, 25-8.

Lewiston's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Gardiner, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lewiston will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Edward Little at 6:00 p.m. on the 16th. As for Gardiner, they will be playing at home against Yarmouth at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
