With a playoff win on the line, Minster rose to the challenge on Saturday. They never let the St. John's Bluejays get on the board and left with a 1-0 victory. The win was nothing new for the Wildcats as they're now sitting on six straight.

Minster's victory bumped their record up to 22-6. As for St. John's, with the loss, they broke their four-game winning streak and moved their record to 9-9.

Looking ahead, Minster will face off against New Riegel at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Wildcats 3.1, the Blue Jackets 3.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. St. John's does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
