Football Recap: Lighthouse Christian Find Success

Lighthouse Christian's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They won a matchup that couldn't have been any closer, slipping by the St. Mary's Academy Crusaders 7-6.

Lighthouse Christian's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-4. As for St. Mary's Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Lighthouse Christian will welcome Diamond at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Chargers will be up against the Wildcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 37.4 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for St. Mary's Academy, they will be playing at home against Northeast at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
