Basketball Recap: Milan Takes a Loss

Milan lost against North Decatur back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Milan Indians came up short against the North Decatur Chargers, falling 83-60. The Indians have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Leading North Decatur to victory were Owen Rennekamp and Cooper Parmer. Rennekamp went 8-for-10 to rack up 19 points in addition to eight assists and eight rebounds, while Parmer went 7-for-11 en route to 22 points and six boards. Thanks to that strong game, Rennekamp now owns an excellent 47.2% field goal percentage. The team also got some help courtesy of Logan O'Dell, who posted ten points and seven boards.

Milan's defeat dropped their record down to 7-10. As for North Decatur, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-11 record this season.

Looking ahead, Milan will challenge South Dearborn at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for North Decatur, they will take on Jac-Cen-Del at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. North Decatur is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 51.2 points per game this season.
