Soccer Recap: Wasatch Takes a Loss

Wasatch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Springville Red Devils. Wasatch were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Springville apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Wasatch now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Springville, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-1.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Wasatch will take on rival Pleasant Grove at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Springville is set to face off against their familiar foe Timpview at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
