Fans got a thrill when Brad Rhoads and chaun obermiller connected against Atlanta. The connection went for 64 yards, the longest such play in North Star - Old this season.
Hillman's Kenny Kolcan rumbled for the longest rushing play in the league this season in his game against Au Gres-Sims last week. Kolcan's team topped the Wolverines as he sprinted for 74 yards on the play and finished with 216 in all.
Mio-Au Sable's dynamic duo of Rhoads and obermiller proved to be unstoppable against the Huskies, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Rhoads threw for 292 yards and 4 touchdowns and obermiller had 129 yards receiving. seth thomey helped Mio-Au Sable's passing attack out by catching 7 balls for 124 yards.
The Thunderbolts' dynamic duo of Rhoads and obermiller proved tough for Atlanta to stop, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week.
Obermiller was the best receiver in the league this week as Mio-Au Sable defeated the Huskies.
Kolcan was the most successful running back in North Star - Old this week. Travis Powers also contributed to the rushing game with 47 yards on the ground.
He went 17-26 with 2 interceptions.
Kolcan was a force in the backfield as Hillman topped Au Gres-Sims.
Rhoads put up the best numbers in passing as the Thunderbolts beat Atlanta.
5-foot-8 quarterback Rhoads of Mio-Au Sable is the league leader in passing yards this season with 765. He has also thrown 9 touchdowns. The leading receiver in the league this season is Mason VanPamel. The Hillman star has 15 catches for 250 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Hale takes on the Huskies. At the moment, the Eagles are in third, while Atlanta is in fifth.
The Tigers moved up to 470 from 537 in the state rankings this week, the biggest jump in the league. Hillman climbed the ranks as a result of beating the Wolverines 48-8.
