Softball Recap: Lebanon Gets the Win

Lebanon had won three straight on the road, but on Wednesday they bumped their record up to 4-3 to make it four. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Milford Spartans, sneaking past 6-5. For the Raiders, this counts as revenge for the 9-5 win the Spartans walked away with the last time they faced one another back in May of 2024.

As for Milford, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-3 record this season. Those defeats can't be blamed on the team's hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games.

For Milford's part, Livi Mazzeo spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered five earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits and racked up six Ks.

At the plate, Haley Harrington was cooking despite her team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run.
