Rochester is headed out to face Tippecanoe Valley after opening their season at home and giving their fans just what they were looking for. Rochester never let Wabash onto the board and left with a 42-0 victory on Friday. Given the Zebras' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana football rankings (they are ranked 102nd, while the Apaches are ranked 269th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Brant Beck had an outrageously good game as he rushed for 68 yards and two touchdowns. He was no stranger to the big play, taking off on a dash that went for 58 yards. Zakkary Parks made the highlight reel by snagging an interception and taking it all the way to the house.

Meanwhile, Tippecanoe Valley blew past Wawasee, posting a 44-0 win at home. The score at the end of the third wound up being the final score as the Vikings just coasted through the last quarter.

Wes Parker was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 149 yards and three touchdowns.

Tippecanoe Valley's defense stepped up as well, laying out the QB five times. The heavy lifting was done by Asher McGriff and Gage Overbey who racked up four sacks between them.

Rochester was taken down by Tippecanoe Valley 39-8 in their previous meeting back in August of 2023. Thankfully for Rochester, Nathan Parker (who rushed for 184 yards and a touchdown on only 12 carries, and also picked up 95 receiving yards and two touchdowns) won't be suiting up this time.
