Basketball Recap: Cotter Takes a Loss

Cotter lost against Rushford-Peterson back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Cotter Ramblers took a 57-49 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rushford-Peterson Trojans. While losing is never fun, the Ramblers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 239th, while the Trojans are ranked 95th).

Cotter's loss dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Rushford-Peterson, they pushed their record up to 17-3 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road.

Cotter wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 73-43 victory against Lyle/Pacelli on the 1st. As for Rushford-Peterson, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 66-34 win against Spring Grove on the 4th.
