Baseball Recap: Red Oak Snags Eighth Win in Last Nine Games

Red Oak made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Battiest, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Eagles blew past the Panthers 10-1 on Tuesday. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by seven runs or more this season.

Red Oak has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 10-3 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.8 runs over those games. As for Battiest, their loss was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 12-7.

Looking ahead, Red Oak will welcome Valliant at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday. As for Battiest, they will challenge Colbert at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday. The last three games the Leopards have played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
