Basketball Recap: Carpinteria Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Carpinteria won the last time they faced Nordhoff and things went their way on Monday too. The Carpinteria Warriors secured a 61-55 W over the Nordhoff Rangers. The win was some much needed relief for the Warriors as it spelled an end to their three-game losing streak.

Carpinteria's victory bumped their record up to 6-9. As for Nordhoff, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Carpinteria will face off against Fillmore at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. One thing working in Carpinteria's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games. As for Nordhoff, they will welcome Santa Ynez at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
