Baseball Recap: All Saints Episcopal Comes Up Short

If All Saints Episcopal was feeling good fresh off their 15-0 takedown of Lutheran last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The All Saints Episcopal Trojans fell just short of the Cushing Bearkats by a score of 6-5 on Friday.

Sawyer Buske made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 3-for-4.

Even though they lost, All Saints Episcopal was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .391. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

All Saints Episcopal's loss dropped their record down to 1-3. As for Cushing, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-1.

Coming up, All Saints Episcopal will venture away from home to face off against Frankston at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Cushing, they will head out to square off against Gladewater at 3:00 p.m. on Friday. Gladewater's pitching crew has only allowed 2.7 runs per game this season, so Cushing's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
