Softball Recap: Centerpoint Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Centerpoint finally came back down to earth on Friday. They came up short against the Bismarck Lions, falling 20-2. The Knights have struggled against the Lions recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost meeting.

Centerpoint's loss dropped their record down to 10-7. As for Bismarck, they now have a winning record of 9-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Centerpoint is set to challenge their familiar foe Fouke at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Meanwhile, Bismarck will square off against rival Harmony Grove at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
