Soccer Preview: Jefferson vs. Bluffton
The Jefferson Wildcats will head out to face off against the Bluffton Pirates at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Bluffton better have a healthy lead at halftime, because if last week is any indication, that's when Jefferson really get things going. Jefferson's defense stepped up to hand Lima Senior a 4-0 shutout on Monday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Wildcats.
Meanwhile, Bluffton entered their tilt with Botkins on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They had just enough and edged the Trojans out 3-2. Three seems to be a good number for the Pirates as the squad scooped up a win with the same number of goals in their previous game.

Aubrey Burkholder scored all three of Bluffton's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 22 goals.
The victory got Jefferson back to even at 6-6. As for Bluffton, their win bumped their record up to 7-2-1.
