Basketball Recap: Astronaut Comes Up Short

Astronaut was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against the Titusville Terriers, falling 71-35. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the War Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 58-55 back in December of 2024.

Astronaut's defeat dropped their record down to 3-18. As for Titusville, they pushed their record up to 12-8 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home.

Astronaut will take on Boone at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Boone knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 contests -- so hopefully Astronaut likes a good challenge. Titusville has already played their next matchup (against Cocoa Beach), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
