Baseball Preview: Rock Island Rocks vs. Alleman Pioneers
Rock Island has enjoyed a three-game homestand but will soon have to dust off their road jerseys. They will challenge the Alleman Pioneers at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The last three games Rock Island has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
On Tuesday, Rock Island needed a bit of extra time to put away Quincy. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 victory over the Blue Devils.

Brokaw has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive pitching appearances. Brokaw was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-4.
