Christopher had to endure a six-match losing streak, but that streak is no more. They came out on top against the Zeigler-Royalton Tornadoes by a score of 2-0 on Thursday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bearcats also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2024.

Christopher found their leader in freshman Tinley Hobbs, who had 11 digs and three aces.

Christopher's victory was their first in the conference, bumping their conference record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 5-12. As for Zeigler-Royalton, they dropped their record down to 8-11 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Christopher will head out on the road to face off against Trico at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Zeigler-Royalton, they will take on Christ Our Rock Lutheran at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
