Football Recap: Ryle Comes Up Short

After flying high against Conner last Friday, Ryle came back down to earth. The Raiders took a 20-13 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cooper Jaguars on Friday. The Raiders were not able to make up for their loss to the Jaguars from their previous meeting back in September of 2024.

The critical scores for Cooper came from Ryker Campbell and Keagan Maher.

Ryle's defeat dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Cooper, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ryle will face off against Christian Academy-Louisville at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Cooper, they will look to defend their home field on Friday against Campbell County at 7:30 p.m.
