Recap: Miller County Pirates vs. Terrell County Greenwave
The Miller County Pirates suffered their biggest loss since December 19, 2023 on Tuesday. They were beaten by Terrell County 85-39. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Miller County in their matchups with Terrell County: they've now lost four in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Terrell County to victory, but perhaps none more so than Keavonte Anderson, who scored 16 points. Shaheed Huckaby was another key contributor, scoring 12 points.
Miller County bumped their record down to 5-11 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Terrell County, their win ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-9.
Miller County will take on Randolph-Clay at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Randolph-Clay presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than Miller County in Georgia (Randolph-Clay is ranked 190th, while Miller County is ranked 421st). As for Terrell County, they will head out on the road to take on Quitman County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
